Piquet is an old form of fortune-telling with cards. In a piquet reading a deck of 32 playing cards is used. The cards ascend in rank from 7 to Ace.
Any standard playing card deck may be used with the 2 through 6 cards removed. This allows for a reading to take place any time any where whether a scheduled appointment or impromptu session.
A question may be asked or a general outlook sought. The cards are shuffled and cut then counted out into piles, present and future. The reader lays out the cards, and the fortune is revealed.
There are various spreads and combinations used according to the individual reader including yes or no answers to an exciting inquiry into if your wish will come true!
