Hey everybody! FoxyMcVixen here, with some helpful tips on customizing your profile, blog, club, event and/or classified ad!
Customizing your profile
Step 1: From your home page, click on "Edit My Profile" in the My Info section, then click "Personalize Profile" in the left-side menu. Step 2: Select a template, choose from 4 different themes:
 Blank | Homepage | Default | Professional |
after selecting your template, click "Save Changes". Step 3: Click "Colorize Profile" in the left-side menu.
option 1
If you selected either the Default, Homepage or Professional template your page will look like this:
Click on the colored boxes to reveal the color-selector.
Choose a color for each section and then click "Save Changes". You're done! Click "View Profile" at the top of the page to check out how it looks!
option 2
If you selected the Blank template your page will look like this:
Here you can manually change the colors of your template, as well as add background images of your choice! Here's an example:

To add a background image to the entire page you'll have to add this code: .page{ background-image:url(url of image); background-repeat:repeat; } *Note~ to show an image once: no-repeat to repeat horizontally only: repeat-x to repeat vertically only: repeat-y
To add a background image to the side menu boxes: add background-image:url(url of image); background-repeat:repeat; to the .template_menuheader and .template_menubox sections. *Note~small images work best for the side menu
To change colors: If you don't want to use a background image, you can change the background color of the main page, as well as side menu. You can also change the color of borders and text for every section of your profile. example:
colors can be changed using hexadecimal code
simply insert the color you'd like into the background-color, color and/or border sections, making sure to keep the # in front of the color code.
*Note~you can also change font-family, font-size, border-style, etc. to your liking. For more tips on styling check out:<a href="http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp>http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp</a>
Once you've finished editing the custom css code, click "Save Changes". You're done! Click "View Profile" at the top of the page to check out how it looks!
Customizing blogs, clubs, events and classified ads can be done the same way...just follow the same steps of selecting a template and colorizing during the creation process!
I hope this little tutorial has been helpful. If there are any further questions or issues let me know!
